Asus - X550C Notebook

I bought this laptop about two weeks ago... here is what I think so far about it.

The Goods: It is light weight, nice looking, the color graphics are beautiful.

The Bads:

- The processor is Intel Pentium, which is old fashion and much slower than Intel core. Because of this the machinery inside will overheat more than other laptops using Intel Core.

-The space bar is giving me trouble, at times doesn't work and all the words I have written stick together, so, I have to go back and review everything I wrote.

Now the worst:

This has nothing to do with the laptop, but with Windows.... I HATE Windows 8. It is very confusing, You have to create a Miscrosoft account to download applications and you have to integrate your Microsoft account with your Skype account. The Skype on Windows 8 Freezes a lot and they have changed the whole program making my life miserable.

For what I need this laptop is not the best choice, I need something more reliable and strong and faster. Oh well... it sucks to be me!

Hob Nobs - A delicious little place in the heart of Downtown Phoenix

Hello everyone... 

If you have the opportunity go and  try this little place located in the heart of downtown Phoenix - right on the southeast corner of 3rd Ave. and McDowell Rd. 

This little house type Deli serves a great variety of sandwiches, salads, pizzas, coffee, smoothies etc. On Sundays afternoon they have life Music and they expose new talented singers, musicians and Music groups. 

We go there at least 3 of 4 times a month because we love the food, and we also love the environment this little place offers. The staff is nice, the owners are always there making you feel welcome. They offer internet access, they have soda refills for free available. When you purchase your food they give you a card that they punch every time you buy food. When the card is filled of punches they give you a free item such as a free sandwich, soda, coffee, pizza or salad. 

These are some of our favorite items at this Deli:

The Carver Sandwich: Roast beef with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, mustard serve on sour dough bread.

Their delicious pepperoni pizza. 

This is my favorite You are the boss Sandwich: You pick the bread you like and the ingredients you want in the sandwich.

If you have a chance hop on this nice place and have a sandwich or pizza while listening to live Music... priceless!

Nutri Bullet in action - Nutri blast breakfast recipe

As I promised on my Nutribullet review I am including here a video of the Nutribullet in action and I'm sharing one of my favorite breakfast smoothies recipes.  I make these smoothies or "Nutri blasts" each morning to feel good, energetic, full and I have to say I love the flavors. So, if you think these smoothies taste bad let me tell you... YOU ARE WRONG!!! They are DEFINITELY DELICIOUS! Try it and let me know what you think about my recipe. 

The Nutribullet - How does it work?

Hello everyone:

Everybody have seen those infomercials late at night or on the weekends on the TV. For months and months I've been watching the Nutribullet infomercial and I was really curious about the product. I really want to be in better shape, healthier and compared with other juicers and blenders, the Nutribullet seemed to be the right way to go. So, I started looking for Nutri blasts recipes on Youtube and I found a bunch of different reviews on the product on video. After reviewing and giving it a deep thought my husband and I decided to buy it. we bought it about 3 weeks ago. 

The Nutribullet is a compact machine. The motor is heavy for it's size and it's construction is really strong.

 It comes with 2 individual cups, a big cup (about 32 oz. big) , two blades, one for the fruits and veggies and one for grains and seeds, the motor, two cup handles and one lid. 

It also includes a user guide / recipe book which includes not only delicious Nutri Blasts recipes but whole meals you can cook easily at home.

You can easily follow the recipes in the book or make your own Nutri blasts base on your unique needs or taste.

We are very pleased with the purchase we have made. In 3 weeks my husband has lost 9 pounds and I have lost 12 pounds without doing much physical activity. we have been replacing breakfast and dinner with the Nutri Blasts... They are delicious, nutritious and full feeling! I will post a video soon. 

Bzz Campaign -Summer grilling with Kroger

Hello everyone:

This is another bzz campaign. This time I had to review some of the Kroger products. 

Products:  Kroger ground beef patties - 93% lean - 7% fat
                Kroger sliders enriched mini buns

Review:

We cooked the burger patties in the pan, we didn't add any oil and we seasoned them with salt and pepper. They were cooked fast and even. The flavor was great like the ral beef does, no greasy and we really enjoy eating them. Great after taste and most important,  after you eat these burgers you feel full but they are not heavy on your stomach, it's because they have just little fat in it. The bread tastes delicious, fresh, great flavor and really soft. 

Burgers have cheese, spinach, roma tomatoes and balsamic and honey dressing.

Lysol touch of foam - My 2nd Bzzagent campaign

Hello everyone this is my second Bzzagent campaign,

This time I tested the Lysol touch of foam anti bacterial hand wash.

The product's bottle is really easy to use. Just one pump gives you enough foam to wash your hands completely. I have been using this foam in my kitchen and I wash my hands with it every time I touch greasy products or raw meat. One pump is more than enough to wash my hands completely, getting rid of the greasy sensation. At the same time the hands remain very soft and with a really nice smell. The fragrance is just amazing!

I love love LOVE Olive Graden!!!

I know many of you love Olive Garden but I want to present my favorite dishes from this extraordinary Italian restaurant. 

The salad ALWAYS tastes fresh!!!

The bread is ALWAYS warm, tender and tastes really good!

Lasagna fritta, my favorite entree.

Steak gorgonzzola Alfredo, my favorite dish!!!

Glade Expressions Collection - review

I bought the Pineapple and Mangosteen oil diffuser and Some of the sprays from the Glade Expression collection. I have to say, this oil diffuser smells wonderful!! The design of the decor container is beautifully crafted. It goes very well with my living room furniture. The fragrance smells like fresh cut pineapples! Yummy! It gives my home a nice inviting atmosphere. I give this product a 5 stars rate!

McGurkee's Italian Kitchen - Great pizza and subs!

I recently found this small restaurant in the Phoenix area. The name of the restaurant is: McGurkee's Italian Kitchen and their specialties are pizza and subs.

This restaurant is located on 15th Ave. and Thomas in the Phoenix area.  (located in the southwest corner)

The restaurant's atmosphere i like an old fashion cafeteria. The restaurant is really clean, the personnel is nice.  It is quite as well. The service is fast and the quality and flavors are great! The prices are good for the amount of food they serve. The subs are about one foot long, the bread is delicious... The subs ingredients are fresh.

  

My boyfriend got the roast beef sub and I got the chicken sub. We shared to try both subs and both of them were really good.  We also got the 15th Ave pizza made with cheese, pepperoni and sausage. 

We got the 10" pizza and they also have a 12" available. The flavor of this pizza is simply delicious! 

Ah I almost forgot to tell you that all subs come with a choice of chips or potato salad. The potato salad is fresh and tastes really good. 

The price are accessible. We paid around $32.00 for both subs, the pizza and two unlimited sodas.
